Job Description
- Material rationalization, standardization, and enrichment for each item based on the Customer's Cataloging Standard.
- Reviewing, Cleaning, and Updating the master material descriptions for greater effectiveness and efficiency based on available information from user requests.
- Standardizing values against extracted values in separate characteristics.
- Ensuring mandatory attributes are correctly populated by reviewing available data sources, such as O&M manuals, drawings, P&ID documents, or by performing a web search using manufacturer references (e.g., part numbers, model numbers, etc.).
Requirement
- 2+ years of experience in material cataloging, inventory management, or a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).
- Knowledge of inventory control processes, systems, and procedures.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English communication.
